Six denim shirts and tops — classic denim shirt, oversized denim shirt, denim shirt dress (sold under both denim/tops and denim/dresses), denim camp shirt, and chambray-style tops. The line uses Quince's stretch denim base in lighter and standard weights for tops-appropriate drape.

Denim shirts use the heavier denim weave that's the same fabric family as jeans — more structured drape, more substantial feel against the skin. Chambray uses a similar twill weave but with a lighter weight and softer hand — drapes more like a button-down cotton shirt. Most of our denim tops sit closer to the denim side; the lighter weights bridge toward chambray.

Standard fit for a denim shirt is relaxed at the shoulders with a slightly tapered waist — close to your bra band without pulling, with room for layering a tee underneath. For the layering-over-camis look, go up one size. For a tucked-in tailored look, take your usual top size.

Yes for business-casual environments. A dark-wash denim shirt over a pencil skirt or dress pants reads polished and professional. Lighter washes lean more casual. The denim shirt dress is the most polished standalone piece. For more formal offices, pair with structured trousers and a blazer.

Machine wash cold inside-out with similar colors. Use mild detergent. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Iron at medium heat if needed. Washing inside-out preserves indigo dye longest — denim fades faster with normal washing the more direct exposure the outside surface gets.
