Most courses require a collared shirt paired with tailored pants or shorts — no denim, athletic shorts, or tank tops. A performance polo, a pair of stretch golf pants or knee-length shorts, and clean sneakers or golf shoes will meet the dress code at nearly every public, semi-private, and private course. Layer with a quarter-zip or a fleece pullover for early tee times.

Modern golf pants use a stretch woven fabric that holds its shape through a full swing, resists wrinkles between shots, and moves with you in and out of the cart. Our ProTech Golf Pants are built from a four-way-stretch polyester with sweat-wicking, anti-bacterial, and UPF 50 finishing, so they stay cool in heat and protect you across a full round in the sun. The Clubhouse Golf Pants use a nylon-and-spandex blend with the same four-way stretch, cut in a tapered slim fit.

Yes — merino wool is one of the best fabrics for golf polos, especially in shoulder-season and variable-weather rounds. Extra-fine merino, like the yarn in our Extra-Fine Australian Merino Polo, regulates temperature across a wide range, wicks moisture without feeling clammy, and stays fresh between wears. It is a good pick when the round starts cool and warms up, or when you are playing back-to-back days.

We offer three inseams. The ProTech Golf Shorts come in 7" for a modern, mid-thigh cut and 9" for a classic just-above-the-knee look. The Clubhouse Golf Shorts sit between the two at 7.5". All three meet standard course dress codes. Choose a shorter inseam if you prefer more range of motion and a slimmer silhouette, or the 9" if you want more coverage or plan to walk 18 in full sun. Both ProTech lengths carry UPF 50 sun protection; the Clubhouse is UPF 40.

Golf pants should sit at your natural waist with a small break at the top of the shoe — enough length to clear the sock but not so much that the hem drags on the follow-through. The seat and thigh should have room to hinge into a full backswing without pulling. Our ProTech Golf Pants are cut slim-straight in a four-way-stretch fabric, so the fit stays consistent whether you're standing over the ball or walking between holes. If you prefer a narrower leg, the Clubhouse Golf Pants are tapered through the ankle.

Four of our golf polos are built to wick moisture. The Performance Mesh Golf Polo uses an open-knit recycled polyester for humid rounds and full sun. The Flowknit Breeze Performance Polo — also available in long sleeve — blends recycled polyester with spandex for four-way stretch, quick-dry performance, and anti-odor finishing. The ProPique Performance Polo adds UPF 40 sun protection in a structured piqué. The Extra-Fine Australian Merino Polo wicks naturally through the wool fiber and resists odor across multi-day play. Our organic cotton piqué polos are breathable and stretch comfortably, but they are not moisture-wicking — choose one of the performance styles for hot or humid rounds.

The polos work as everyday warm-weather shirts, the ProTech Golf Pants pass as smart-casual travel pants, the Clubhouse Golf Shorts pair with a T-shirt on weekends, and the Recycled Knit Everyday Sneaker walks a course and a city block without issue. Nothing in the shop is loud enough to only work in a golf context.

Our golf assortment is currently men's-focused. For women's warm-weather layers that work on the course — technical polos, stretch pants, and lightweight pullovers — shop the women's activewear and women's pants categories. Kids' golf-specific styles are not offered at this time.
