ALL YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

What should I wear on a golf course?

Most courses require a collared shirt paired with tailored pants or shorts — no denim, athletic shorts, or tank tops. A performance polo, a pair of stretch golf pants or knee-length shorts, and clean sneakers or golf shoes will meet the dress code at nearly every public, semi-private, and private course. Layer with a quarter-zip or a merino pullover for early tee times.

What are golf pants made of, and why does the fabric matter?

Modern golf pants use a stretch woven fabric — typically a nylon-and-elastane blend — that holds its shape through a full swing, resists wrinkles between shots, and moves with you on cart-in/cart-out. Our ProTech Golf Pants use a four-way-stretch woven with a moisture-wicking finish so the fabric stays cool in heat and doesn't sag or bunch after 18 holes.

Is merino wool a good fabric for golf polos?

Yes — merino wool is one of the best fabrics for golf polos, especially in shoulder-season and variable-weather rounds. Extra-fine merino (like the yarn in our Australian Merino Jersey Polo) regulates temperature across a wide range, wicks moisture without feeling clammy, and resists odor between wears. It is a good pick when the round starts cool and warms up, or when you are playing back-to-back days.

What inseam should I choose for golf shorts?

Our Clubhouse Golf Shorts come in two inseams: 7" for a modern, mid-thigh cut, and 9" for a classic just-above-the-knee look. Both meet standard course dress codes. Choose the 7" if you prefer more range of motion and a slimmer silhouette, and the 9" if you want more coverage or plan to walk 18 in full sun. The ProTech Golf Short in 9" runs a hair more relaxed than the Clubhouse in the same length.

How should golf pants fit?

Golf pants should sit at your natural waist with a small break at the top of the shoe — enough length to clear the sock but not so much that the hem drags on the follow-through. The seat and thigh should have room to hinge into a full backswing without pulling. Our ProTech Golf Pants are cut with a modern straight leg and a stretch waistband so the fit stays consistent whether you're standing over the ball or walking between holes.

Are these polos moisture-wicking?

All three of our golf polos wick moisture, using different fabric approaches. The Performance Mesh Golf Polo uses an open-knit synthetic built for humid rounds and full sun. The Recycled Flowknit Breeze Polo blends recycled polyester with elastane for four-way stretch and quick-dry performance. The Extra-Fine Australian Merino Polo wicks naturally through the wool fiber and resists odor across multi-day play.

Can I wear these off the course?

Yes — the assortment is built to hold up on the course and read cleanly off it. The polos work as everyday warm-weather shirts, the ProTech pants pass as smart-casual travel pants, the Clubhouse shorts pair with a T-shirt on weekends, and the Everyday Sneaker walks a course and a city block without issue. Nothing in the shop is loud enough to only work in a golf context.

Do you make women's or kids' golf clothing?

The Golf Shop assortment is currently men's-focused, with unisex performance golf socks. For women's warm-weather layers that work on the course — technical polos, stretch pants, and lightweight pullovers — shop the women's activewear and women's pants categories. Kids' golf-specific styles are not offered at this time.

What's your return policy on golf apparel?

Every item in the Golf Shop is covered by our standard 365-day return window — a full year to return anything for a full refund. Shipping is free on orders over $75. If a polo doesn't breathe the way you expected on the course, or the pants don't fit through the seat, send them back.
