For the right fit, we recommend ordering 1-2 sizes larger than your waist size
- Pant size 30 & 32 = 30 - 34 belt
- Pant size 34 & 36 = 34 - 38 belt
- Pant size 38, 40 & 42= 38 - 42 belt
How to cut your belt to size (if needed):
For reference: your belt has an unfinished end (the straight-cut end that feeds into the buckle's trap door) and a tip end (the finished, shaped end that passes through the belt loops).
- Put the belt on as you normally would and ratchet it to your usual fit.
- Check how much of the tip end hangs past the buckle (the overhang). We recommend at least 3 inches.
- If you have more than 3 inches of overhang, measure that extra length beyond the 3-inch mark on the tip end - this is the amount you'll trim.
- Remove the strap from the buckle by prying open the trap door, freeing the unfinished end.
- On the unfinished end (not the tip end - that stays as-is), measure and cut off the excess length from step 3.
- Reinsert the trimmed unfinished end into the trap door and press the teeth firmly back down. You're set.
Note: Measure twice before cutting - this adjustment is permanent and cannot be undone.
