CARE

  • Most liquids simply roll off of Crypton® fabrics, like our Performance Chenille Linen Blend, or they can be quickly blotted off the surface with a dry towel or sponge. The spot cleaning method of stain removal can be used for most light to medium stains, such as coffee, soda, crayon, and ketchup. Be careful to brush lightly since fibers can be broken or matted during the cleaning process.
  • Before spot cleaning, blot up liquids on the surface with a clean, soft towel and brush off any loose dirt. Then prepare a cleaning solution of 1/4 tsp mild, enzyme detergent, such as Tide®, Woolite® or Dawn® dishwashing liquid, per 1 cup of lukewarm water. Apply the cleaning solution using a misting spray bottle. Do not oversaturate. Work the solution into the affected area by lightly scrubbing the area with a sponge or soft bristle brush. Make sure to work from the outside of the stain inward so as not to spread the stain and rinse your sponge or brush frequently. Allow the cleaning solution to soak into the fabric. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residues, as residues will attract dirt. Blot excess moisture with a clean, soft towel or sponge. Repeat the above steps as needed until the stain is gone. Allow fabric to air dry.
  • For tougher stains or general upkeep, we recommend an at-home hot water extraction cleaner or professional hot water upholstery cleaning service. Make sure to specify no added solvents.
  • Remove any cleaner residue by rinsing or extraction to avoid future buildup. Rinsing is key.
  • Wipe up spills or stains as soon as they occur to extend the life of your fabric.
  • Do not use bleach on this fabric.
  • To minimize fading, avoid placing in direct sunlight or close to sources of heat or moisture.
  • Vacuum regularly with an upholstery attachment. We recommend every 1-2 weeks.
  • Cushion covers are removable, but we recommend contacting a professional upholstery cleaning service for overall cleaning of major spills and stains.
  • Though we use contract-grade fabrics for maximum durability, all fabrics will pill slightly with normal friction and use. Use a fabric or sweater shaver periodically to remove pills. Pilling will decrease once loose fibers are removed.
  • To maintain shape and comfort, we recommend fluffing cushions by hand every 1-2 weeks.

ALL YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

What does the Atlas collection look like?

The Atlas is a mid-century design done right — clean lines and subtly tapered solid maple legs for a timeless, elevated silhouette. It's offered as a sofa, chair, chaise sectional, and ottoman, so you can outfit a living room in one cohesive mid-century look.

How is the Atlas built to last?

The Atlas is expertly handcrafted in North Carolina using premium materials sourced from around the world, on a kiln-dried hardwood frame from responsibly managed forests. The frame is precision-cut and fastened with mortise-and-tenon and puzzle joinery, the seat is supported by a durable sinuous-spring suspension, and it stands on tapered solid maple legs — all backed by our lifetime frame guarantee.

How comfortable are the cushions?

The seat cushions feature a high-density foam core wrapped in fine, down-alternative polyfiber — plush but supportive. We recommend fluffing the cushions every 1-2 weeks to keep their shape, but the down-alternative polyfiber requires noticeably less maintenance than a natural down-blend cushion. The coordinating back cushions are filled with the same down-alternative polyfiber.

What fabrics and colors does the Atlas come in?

The Atlas is upholstered in your choice of contract-grade performance velvet, performance basketweave, or performance chenille linen blend — all durable and suitable for high-traffic, family-friendly use. The velvet and basketweave are both Oeko-Tex certified, and the chenille linen blend is a Crypton fabric that's GREENGUARD certified. Each comes in a range of rich shades, and complimentary swatches are available so you can find the right color and feel before you order.

Does the Atlas ship assembled?

Yes — sofas, chairs, and ottomans arrive fully assembled. Sectionals ship in 2-3 fully built pieces (depending on size) that your white glove team connects in your room. Because these pieces ship fully built, we recommend measuring doorways, hallways, and stairwells before ordering.

How will my furniture be delivered?

Every furniture item ships via our complimentary white glove delivery service, regardless of size. Once your order ships, our carrier, Metropolitan, will reach out to schedule a delivery date and a 4-hour window. On delivery day, they'll call ahead, bring your piece into your room of choice, complete any assembly, and remove all packaging. Most items arrive fully assembled or require only light assembly, which the white glove team completes for you upon delivery.

What is the white glove delivery process like?

After your order ships, you'll receive tracking details and an email from Metropolitan to schedule your 4-hour delivery window. The team calls when they're about 30 minutes away, then places your furniture exactly where you'd like it, completes any necessary assembly, and takes away all packing materials. Please note that our white glove service includes one delivery attempt; for each additional attempt, Quince will charge a fee of 15% of the total order value, so we recommend measuring carefully before ordering to ensure your item fits through all doorways, hallways, and elevators. Our carrier is also unable to handle any non-Quince items, such as furniture or rugs already in your home.

What is your return policy?

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for stocked items and 7 days for made-to-order items. Items must be in new, unused condition, and a 15% restocking fee applies. Cancellations made more than 24 hours after an order is placed are also subject to the 15% restocking fee.

How do I measure to make sure my furniture will fit?

We recommend measuring the width, height, and diagonal depth of your space, along with all doorways, hallways, stairwells, and elevators the piece will pass through — the item's diagonal depth must be less than the width of your narrowest passage. For a step-by-step walkthrough, see our furniture measuring guide (https://www.quince.com/furniture-measuring-guide).

What does the warranty cover?

Our furniture is certified free from defects in frame and craftsmanship for the lifetime of the original owner under normal residential use. It does not cover commercial use, or damage from accidents, misuse, improper care, or normal wear to fabric. See our warranty policy (https://www.quince.com/warranty?trafficSource=footer&qpid=_wb6q0l0c6) for full details.

Why are your prices so low?

We partner directly with the makers who craft our furniture, cutting out the traditional markups so you get premium materials and construction at a fraction of conventional retail prices.
