Cut, chop, and serve on a surface that only gets better with use — and won't shed microplastics into your food while doing it. This butcher block is crafted from American walnut in an end grain construction — meaning the wood fibers run vertically, so your knife edge meets the grain rather than cutting across it. The result is a board that's gentler on blades, more resistant to deep scarring, and self-healing over time.

No plastic, no synthetic coatings. Just solid walnut, finished with food-safe mineral oil and wax so it's ready to use from day one.

DETAILS

  • Crafted from 100% premium walnut wood sustainably sourced from North America
  • Free from plastic, synthetic coatings, and harsh chemicals — finished with food-safe mineral oil and a thin layer of food-safe wax, so it's ready to use right out of the box
  • Natural variation in color and grain makes every board one of a kind
  • End grain construction is gentler on knife edges and more resistant to deep scarring than face or edge grain boards
  • Built-in handles on both ends make it easy to move from counter to table
  • Walnut's naturally tight, close grain creates a hygienic surface well-suited for all kitchen prep
  • Multi-functional: use as a prep station, cutting board, or serving board
  • Hand wash only; do not submerge in water. Apply food-safe mineral oil regularly to condition the surface. See care details.
  • Dimensions: 18"L x 13"W x 1.5"D
  • Made in China

CARE

Hand Wash Only

Do not soak. Dry immediately with a clean cloth. Not dishwasher safe.

Store With Care

Keep in a cool, ventilated place away from direct sunlight and heat sources, which can cause warping or splitting.

Oil Regularly

Apply a thin layer of Bee's Oil or food-grade mineral oil monthly or as needed. Let absorb overnight and wipe away any excess. Avoid seed or vegetable oils, which can go rancid and damage the surface.

Use & Rotate

Vary your cutting area for more even wear over time. Knife marks are a natural sign of use. Avoid abrasive tools or cleaners on the surface.
