Question 1

What materials and styles of dining tables do you offer?

Accepted Answer

Our dining tables are crafted from premium, natural materials — solid woods like oak, ash, and walnut, reclaimed wood, and genuine marble — in rectangular, square, and round shapes to suit different rooms and seating needs. Because wood and marble are natural materials, grain variation, knots, and unique veining make every piece one of a kind.

Question 2

How are your dining tables built to last?

Accepted Answer

Each table is built for longevity, using solid wood construction and joinery designed to minimize wood movement and help prevent warping or cracking, finished by hand for added protection against spills, stains, and scratches. Marble tops are solid stone, sealed against everyday use, and set on sturdy, reinforced bases for lasting stability.

Question 3

How many people will a dining table seat?

Accepted Answer

Seating depends on the size and shape you choose — larger rectangular styles seat more, while round and square options suit smaller gatherings. Each product page lists dimensions, and we recommend measuring your space (and the room to move around it) before ordering.

Question 4

How do I care for my dining table?

Accepted Answer

For wood tables, wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry promptly, avoiding harsh or abrasive cleaners; note that reclaimed and solid wood may shift slightly over time as a natural characteristic. For marble, blot spills quickly (especially acidic ones like wine or citrus), use coasters and trivets, and avoid abrasive or acidic cleaners to protect the sealed surface.

Question 5

How is my dining table delivered and assembled?

Accepted Answer

Your table is delivered via free white glove service. Most tables require only light assembly — such as attaching the base or legs — which the delivery team completes in your room before removing all packaging.

Question 6

How will my furniture be delivered?

Accepted Answer

Every furniture item ships via our complimentary white glove delivery service, regardless of size. Once your order ships, our carrier, Metropolitan, will reach out to schedule a delivery date and a 4-hour window. On delivery day, they'll call ahead, bring your piece into your room of choice, complete any assembly, and remove all packaging. Most items arrive fully assembled or require only light assembly, which the white glove team completes for you upon delivery.

Question 7

What is the white glove delivery process like?

Accepted Answer

After your order ships, you'll receive tracking details and an email from Metropolitan to schedule your 4-hour delivery window. The team calls when they're about 30 minutes away, then places your furniture exactly where you'd like it, completes any necessary assembly, and takes away all packing materials. Please note that our white glove service includes one delivery attempt; for each additional attempt, Quince will charge a fee of 15% of the total order value, so we recommend measuring carefully before ordering to ensure your item fits through all doorways, hallways, and elevators. Our carrier is also unable to handle any non-Quince items, such as furniture or rugs already in your home.

Question 8

What is your return policy?

Accepted Answer

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for stocked items and 7 days for made-to-order items. Items must be in new, unused condition, and a 15% restocking fee applies. Cancellations made more than 24 hours after an order is placed are also subject to the 15% restocking fee.

Question 9

How do I measure to make sure my furniture will fit?

Accepted Answer

We recommend measuring the width, height, and diagonal depth of your space, along with all doorways, hallways, stairwells, and elevators the piece will pass through — the item's diagonal depth must be less than the width of your narrowest passage. For a step-by-step walkthrough, see our furniture measuring guide (https://www.quince.com/furniture-measuring-guide).

Question 10

What does the warranty cover?

Accepted Answer

Our furniture is certified free from defects in frame and craftsmanship for the lifetime of the original owner under normal residential use. It does not cover commercial use, or damage from accidents, misuse, improper care, or normal wear to fabric. See our warranty policy (https://www.quince.com/warranty?trafficSource=footer&qpid=_wb6q0l0c6) for full details.

Question 11

Why are your prices so low?

Accepted Answer

We partner directly with the makers who craft our furniture, cutting out the traditional markups so you get premium materials and construction at a fraction of conventional retail prices.
