How to use: To separate the base for battery access, hold the base and turn case clockwise, unlocked and gently pull away the case from the base. Unlock the battery compartment within the case, turn the lever counter-clockwise, and gently pull out the battery compartment. Insert 6 x AAA batteries in the battery compartment according to the "+" and "-" as marked. Put the battery compartment back, put salt or pepper in the bottom case, and turn the top case clockwise until it clicks back into place. Press the button at the top, and start grinding.
