CARE
To address minor spots, gently blot with a soft, light-colored cloth lightly dampened with water. Take care not to over-wet the hat, as natural fibers may expand when exposed to excess moisture, affecting its shape and structure. Allow to air dry naturally.
Preserve the shape of your hat by storing it in a hat box or packing it upside down, cushioned with soft garments. Avoid placing heavy items on top. We recommend wearing it while traveling, whenever possible, to prevent creasing.

An open weave and exceptionally fine fibers allow air to flow for cool comfort in warm climates.

Rapidly renewable plant fibers require minimal processing, resulting in a lighter environmental footprint.

Toquilla comes from the Carludovica palmata plant and is celebrated for its fine fiber, resilience, and light feel.
ALL YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Why are your prices so low?
We partner directly with the same factories that produce for the top luxury brands, then ship straight to you — skipping the wholesale and traditional retail markups that typically add 3–5× to the price along the way. Same materials, same craftsmanship, a fraction of the cost. It's not a sale or a discount — it's the price of skipping the middlemen.
Are your products authentic?
Yes. Every Quince product is designed in-house and made at audited partner factories — many of which manufacture for the world's most established luxury brands. We don't resell or source from third-party marketplaces. Each piece ships directly from the factory to you, with our quality guarantee behind it.
Where are your products made?
Around the world, at the same factories that produce for established luxury brands. We source Mongolian cashmere from Inner Mongolia, Italian leather from Tuscany, Mulberry silk from China, organic cotton from India, European linen from Belgium and Lithuania, and wool from Australia and New Zealand. Country of origin is listed on every product page.
Where is your company located?
Quince is headquartered in San Francisco. Our team works globally and our partner factories span Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
Do you have a store that I can visit?
Quince is online-only by design. Skipping physical stores and traditional retail tiers is part of what keeps prices factory-direct — we pass those savings on to you. You can browse the full assortment at quince.com.
Do you offer free returns & exchanges?
Yes, we accept returns for 365 days from your order date. Items must be unused, with original tags attached, and in original packaging. Returns are free for most items; a small set of categories (such as rugs and final-sale pieces) have specific return terms noted on the product page.
What if I have more questions?
