Handwoven Bags & Leather Goods

The handwoven collection uses natural plant fibers—primarily raffia, straw, and palm—woven by hand into open-weave totes, satchels, and clutches. The leather trim (found in handles, closures, and bases) is full-grain leather, sourced separately. Our standard totes are about 14" wide × 13" tall × 6" deep—that's large enough to carry a 13" laptop, wallet, sunglasses, and a water bottle without stress on the weave. The smaller clutch and crossbody sizes are designed for evening or weekend use—perfect for fitting a phone, cards, and lipstick.

It depends on the weave density. A tight raffia weave with a leather base holds its shape and stands upright when set down—closer to a structured tote. A looser open-weave straw bag is slouchier, conforming to whatever you put inside. Keep it dry—water spotting on straw and raffia is hard to reverse. Spot-clean with a barely-damp cloth if needed. Store upright on a shelf or in its dust bag when not in use. Some things to avoid: folding or stuffing the bag can damage the weave, and sun and humidity both age natural fibers, so don't store on a sunny windowsill or in a damp closet.
