By material: Mongolian cashmere (the flagship line), organic cotton, merino wool, alpaca, yak, and a small Vicuña collection. By silhouette: cardigans, pullovers (the broadest assortment), turtlenecks, crewnecks, V-necks, sweater vests (sleeveless), oversized fits, half-zips, and cropped styles. Quince cashmere sweaters achieve their cloud-soft feel from the exceptionally fine and long fibers of cashmere goats. These natural fibers have a very small micron diameter, creating a smooth, luxurious texture that is gentle against the skin. This inherent fiber quality is key to the softness of these women's sweaters.

Yes. Every Quince cashmere sweater is made from 100% Mongolian cashmere, sourced from Inner Mongolia. We use Grade A fibers measuring 15.8 microns - the same quality standard commonly used in luxury cashmere knitwear.

Our women's sweaters are crafted from premium natural fibers including Mongolian cashmere, Australian merino wool, GOTS-certified organic cotton, baby alpaca, Himalayan yak wool, and recycled Eco-Knit blends.

A pullover (crewneck, V-neck, turtleneck, half-zip) has no front opening — pulls over the head, designed for layering as a base or mid-layer. Quince's pullover assortment is the broadest in the sweater tree. A cardigan has a front opening (buttons or open-front) — designed to layer over a tee or shell, more versatile for variable-temp days. A sweater vest is sleeveless — knit body, no sleeves — layers over a long-sleeve shirt or tee for added warmth without bulk.

Cashmere is lighter and softer - our Mongolian cashmere fibers measure 15.8 microns versus merino's 18-22 microns. Merino excels at temperature regulation and moisture wicking.

Our cashmere sweaters use advanced pill-resistant construction with longer 34-36mm fibers and 12-gauge knit density. Minor pilling is natural during the first few wears - a cashmere comb removes it in seconds.

For cashmere and merino wool: hand wash in cool water with mild detergent, or machine wash on the wool/delicate cycle in a mesh bag. Lay flat to dry — never hang wet (the fabric stretches). Pill management: use a cashmere comb or pumice stone for the first few wears; pilling lessens with washing. Store folded, not hung. For organic cotton: most are machine-washable cold on a gentle cycle, tumble dry low. For alpaca and yak: hand-wash recommended, lay flat to dry. Avoid bleach across all materials.
