Rectangle

Quince's women's rectangle sunglasses cover polarized acetate frames (in tortoise patterns and solid colors — black, brown, jewel tones) and stainless steel frames (the minimal metal look in gold, silver, gunmetal). All with polarized lenses. The rectangle silhouette runs slim — wider than tall with sharp angles.

Both have angular silhouettes, but rectangle frames are noticeably wider than they are tall (the lens shape elongates horizontally). Square frames are roughly equal width and height. Rectangle reads more modern-minimal and architectural; square reads more classic. Choose rectangle for contemporary styling and a slimmer profile; choose square for fuller frame coverage and a more classic look.

Rectangle frames work best on rounder face shapes and oval faces — the angular silhouette adds structure to soft features. On naturally angular faces (square, rectangular face shapes), curved styles (round, oval) often flatter more by softening natural lines. The slim rectangle frame sits closer to the face than oversized styles, keeping the visual focus on the face rather than the glasses.

Clean lenses with a microfiber cloth and lens cleaner — never paper towels (which scratch coatings) or shirt fabric. Store in the protective case when not wearing to prevent scratches and frame warping. Avoid leaving sunglasses in hot cars or direct sun for extended periods — heat can warp acetate frames and damage lens coatings. With proper care, polarized lenses and acetate frames hold up across many years of wear.
