ALL YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
1. What is TOG and what TOG do I need?
1. What is TOG and what TOG do I need?
TOG (Thermal Overall Grade) is a standardized unit of heat measurement that indicates warmth and insulation. Using the TOG rating system can help parents choose the appropriate sleepwear for their baby based on the room temperature, so their baby stays comfortable and safe while sleeping.
Our Sleep Bags come in different TOGs so you can choose the best option for your home and baby. We recommend 0.5 TOG for spring and summer, 1.0 TOG all year round, and 2.5 TOG for fall and winter.
2. What size Sleep Bag is the right size?
2. What size Sleep Bag is the right size?
Choosing the right size for your baby’s sleep bag is not just about comfort. It also supports better sleep and safety. While some parents prefer to size up in baby clothes, a sleep bag should fit properly for your baby’s weight and height.
We recommend referencing our size chart to help select the best size for your baby.
Neck opening: The neck opening is designed to fit close to your baby’s neck for a secure feel, while still allowing comfortable, unrestricted movement.
Armholes: There should be enough room to allow free movement without large gaps or risk of baby slipping inside.
Body: Look for room to kick and wiggle. If it seems long, do not worry. Our sleep bags are designed with extra length to give your baby room to grow and move their legs freely.
