Percale Sheets

Percale is a one-over, one-under weave with a crisp, cool, lightly textured hand — like a freshly pressed shirt. Air moves through the weave easily, which is why percale sleeps cooler than denser weaves like sateen. Sateen uses a four-over, one-under weave that brings more cotton threads to the surface, producing a smooth, silky drape with a slight sheen. Hot sleepers usually prefer percale; cold sleepers and silky-drape lovers usually prefer sateen.

Organic Crisp Percale is the everyday line — lighter weight, slightly crisper hand, and the most-loved option for hot sleepers. Classic Organic Percale is the premium line — slightly heavier weight, more body in the drape, and offered in the dressier finishes (Piped, Border, Embroidered). Both use GOTS-certified organic cotton and OEKO-TEX certified finishing. Choose Organic Crisp for budget plus airflow; choose Classic Organic for the dressed-bed look.

Plain (no surface detail), Piped (contrast piping along the pillowcase and flat-sheet hem), Border (woven contrast band at the top edge), Embroidered (subtle satin-stitched motif on the flat sheet and shams), Gingham (woven checkered pattern), Double Stripe, Floral, Scallop edge, and Embellished (multi-detail finishes). Each surface treatment is sewn into the percale rather than printed on, so it survives washing without fading.

The bundle ships the sheet set (fitted + flat + 2 pillowcases) plus a matching duvet cover and pillow shams. Priced below the sum of the individual pieces, and dye-matched across all pieces (which matters most for colored and patterned percale). Machine wash cold or warm on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Skip fabric softener — it coats the cotton fibers and reduces breathability. Tumble dry on low.
