A slide sandal is an open-back, open-toe style — easy to step in and out of, designed for resort wear, beach days, and warm-weather lounging. A fisherman sandal has a closed-toe woven leather upper that wraps around the front of the foot, offering more coverage and a more polished, refined-utility look that pairs with linen pants, shorts, or summer suiting.

Both styles run true to size. The double-buckle slide adjusts at the buckles for a more secure fit. The fisherman sandal has a fixed woven leather upper that softens and molds to the foot over a few wears — Blake construction gives it added flexibility from day one. For oiled nubuck (a brushed leather with an oil-treated finish), wipe gently with a soft cloth or brush and reapply a nubuck conditioner periodically; oiled nubuck has a slightly different care profile than standard nubuck — avoid harsh detergents. For the cow leather fisherman, wipe with a damp cloth after each wear and condition every few months with a leather balm. Air-dry both away from direct sun if they get damp, and avoid prolonged exposure to salt water.
