Question 1

What's in Quince's newborn sets collection?

Accepted Answer

You'll find bamboo layette sets with a gown, a hat, and a swaddle, a set that pairs a swaddle with a hat, and swaddles sold in a two-pack.

Question 2

What's a layette?

Accepted Answer

A layette is the set of basics you buy before your baby arrives, such as sleepwear, a hat, and a swaddle. Buying it as a set saves you from putting it together piece by piece.

Question 3

Why choose a gown for a newborn?

Accepted Answer

A gown is open at the bottom, so diaper changes are quicker, especially in the middle of the night.

Question 4

Are newborn sets a good baby shower gift?

Accepted Answer

Yes. They're easy to give because you don't need to guess a size closely, and they're made to be used from the very first weeks.

Question 5

What are the newborn sets made of?

Accepted Answer

They're made from 95% viscose from bamboo and 5% spandex, the same fabric used in our sleep sacks.

Question 6

How long can I use a swaddle?

Accepted Answer

Most babies stop being swaddled once they start rolling. After that, the swaddle can be used as a cover while feeding or as a light blanket.

Question 7

What other baby sleepwear collections should I shop?

Accepted Answer

You can also shop all baby sleepwear, sleep sacks, one-piece pajamas, and tight-fit footies. For the nursery, browse baby blankets and the full nursery collection.
