Question 1

What table runners does Quince offer?

Accepted Answer

Four European Linen Table Runner styles. The standard European Linen Table Runner is the plain version, woven in 100% European linen. The Fringe Table Runner adds a hand-finished fringe at both ends for a more rustic refined look. The Pencil Stripe Table Runner adds subtle vertical stripes. The Gingham Table Runner brings a patterned option for less formal table-setting.

Question 2

What size are the runners?

Accepted Answer

Standard table-runner length — typically 14" wide by 72", 90", or 108" depending on the version. The runner is sized to extend slightly beyond the table edges at both ends, which is the traditional table-runner drape. Exact dimensions are listed on each product page.

Question 3

How do I coordinate runners with napkins and placemats?

Accepted Answer

Match the runner pattern family to the napkin and placemat family if you want a unified look — the European Linen Fringe Table Runner pairs cleanly with European Linen Fringe Tablecloths and matching scalloped or fringed napkins. For mix-and-match, a plain runner reads as a neutral base that any patterned napkin or placemat sits cleanly on top of.

Question 4

Are these runners machine washable?

Accepted Answer

Yes — all European Linen Table Runners are machine washable. Cold or warm gentle cycle with mild detergent. Skip fabric softener. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Iron on low while slightly damp for a crisp finish. The Gingham and Pencil Stripe runners follow the same care.

Question 5

Will the runner wrinkle?

Accepted Answer

Linen wrinkles naturally — and in a table-runner context, the wrinkles read as the intentional relaxed linen aesthetic rather than careless. If you prefer a crisper drape, iron lightly while slightly damp before laying the runner on the table. Steam-pressing also works well for the relaxed look without harsh creases.
