Question 1

Do table lamps and floor lamps require installation?

Accepted Answer

No — all table lamps and floor lamps in this collection plug into a standard wall outlet or, in the case of the Zafferano rechargeable lamps, charge via USB and run cordless for several hours per charge. Set up takes under five minutes; no electrician or hardwiring required.

Question 2

What materials are used in Quince table and floor lamps?

Accepted Answer

Bases in travertine stone, swirled glass, glossy ceramic, geometric ceramic, heritage ceramic, arched seagrass, and brass. Shades typically in fabric or paper. The Zafferano lamps use polycarbonate bodies and rechargeable LED light sources. Each product page lists exact base material, shade material, dimensions, and weight.

Question 3

What is the Zafferano Pina Pro / Poldina Pro rechargeable lamp?

Accepted Answer

Zafferano is an Italian lighting brand stocked by Quince. The Pina Pro and Poldina Pro are cordless USB-rechargeable LED table lamps designed for restaurant-style portable use — runs 6-9 hours per charge, dimmable, and rated for outdoor use. Popular for dining tables, patios, and rooms where running a cord is impractical.

Question 4

How do I pick the right floor lamp height?

Accepted Answer

Most floor lamps stand 55-65 inches tall — measured from floor to top of shade. For reading, the bottom of the shade should sit at roughly eye level when seated (about 38-42 inches from the floor, depending on chair height). Arc and adjustable floor lamps offer more flexibility. Each product page lists exact dimensions; measure your space first.

Question 5

What kind of bulbs do these fixtures use?

Accepted Answer

Most Quince fixtures use standard medium-base (E26) sockets that accept incandescent, LED, or halogen bulbs in the wattage listed on the product page. Some pendant and chandelier fixtures use candelabra-base (E12) bulbs. A few designs have integrated LED panels that do not require separate bulbs — these are noted on each product page. Quince does not include bulbs in the box; check the specs before ordering.

Question 6

How do I clean ceramic, travertine, and seagrass lamp bases?

Accepted Answer

Wipe ceramic and glass bases with a soft cloth and mild glass or surface cleaner. Travertine stone bases should be cleaned with a damp cloth and dried immediately — never use acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus) on travertine, which can etch the stone. Seagrass bases are best dusted with a soft brush or vacuumed with a brush attachment; avoid soaking. Shade cleaning depends on the material listed on the product page.
