Lighting

ALL YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Most well-lit rooms combine three layers. Ambient lighting (chandeliers, ceiling lighting, ceiling fans with light) provides general room illumination — the baseline. Task lighting (table lamps, floor lamps, articulating wall sconces) gives focused light for reading, cooking, or working at a desk. Accent lighting (small sconces, picture lights, candles) creates mood and highlights specific objects or zones. A room with all three layers feels intentional; a room with only one feels flat.
