Question 1

What sizes come in a Quince luggage set?

Accepted Answer

Each of our suitcase sets pairs a carry-on with a check-in. You can choose the Carry-On with the Medium or Large Check-In, the Small Carry-On with the Large Check-In, or an expandable pair: the Expandable Small Carry-On or Expandable Carry-On with the Expandable Large Check-In. For three pieces, the Expandable Trio Bundle lets you pick any three Expandable suitcases. You'll also find travel bundles that pair an Expandable suitcase with packing cubes, a travel bag, a weekender, a tote, a backpack, or a passport holder and luggage tags.

Question 2

How are the expandable sets different from the standard sets?

Accepted Answer

Both are built the same way, with a polycarbonate hard shell, an interior compression system, a removable laundry bag, YKK zippers, 360° spinner wheels and a TSA-approved lock. Expandable suitcases can expand an additional 1" when you need more room. That takes the Expandable Carry-On from 48L to 57L and the Expandable Large Check-In from 99L to 122L. If you often bring home more than you packed, the expandable pair gives you that extra space.

Question 3

Do luggage sets nest together for storage?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In every two-piece set, the carry-on nests inside the check-in, so the pair stores in the space of one suitcase. Our Small Carry-On and Carry-On, in both standard and expandable versions, nest inside the Medium and Large Check-In. If you choose three pieces with the Expandable Trio Bundle, a carry-on nests inside a check-in, but the set won't pack down into a single suitcase.

Question 4

Are the locks TSA-approved?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every suitcase in our sets has a TSA-approved Travel Sentry® combination lock, which lets security officers open, inspect and relock your bag without damaging it. The lock comes set to 0-0-0, and you can change it to your own three-digit combination using the reset button. The steps are in the instructions that come with your suitcase.

Question 5

How do I choose the right size luggage set?

Accepted Answer

Think about the trips you take most. Our product pages list how many outfits each suitcase holds, which makes it easier to picture. The Small Carry-On holds 5–7 outfits and the Carry-On 6–9, enough for a long weekend or a short work trip. The Medium Check-In holds 9–12 outfits, and the Large Check-In holds 2+ weeks of outfits. For most people, a carry-on with the Medium Check-In covers a mix of short trips and week-long ones. A carry-on with the Large Check-In is the better pick for longer trips, or when you're packing for more than one person.

Question 6

What's the warranty and return policy on luggage sets?

Accepted Answer

Each suitcase in a set is backed by our limited lifetime warranty, which covers manufacturer defects such as cracks or breaks in the shell, wheels or handles that break off or stop working, and zippers that no longer open or close. Cosmetic wear such as scratches, dents and scuffs isn't covered. We accept returns for 365 days from your order date, as long as the luggage is new, unused and in its original packaging. A suitcase that has been used for travel can't be returned.
