Expandable Carry-On Hard Shell Suitcase - 21"

“There's much more room than I thought...and I appreciate how light the whole thing is. Best overall price! I like the expandable feature so I can buy and bring back items.”

Carry-On Hard Shell Suitcase - 20"

“What a great suitcase! I was skeptical at first because it sounded too good to be true, but it is truly sturdy and so easy to carry around. Great quality!”

Check-In Hard Shell Suitcase - 27"

“Excellent, solid suitcase for a fraction of the cost of competitors. I took the 27" on a 2 week trip to Italy and it held an amazing amount of stuff!”

    ALL YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

    1. How are your prices so low?

Our factory-direct model, in partnership with some of the leading specialty factories in the luggage industry, allows us to use high-quality materials while minimizing waste and cost, so that we can offer our customers the best products at even better prices.

    2. How do I decide which carry-on is for me?

We currently offer carry-on suitcases in two sizes—the 20” and 21”—in both our Hard Shell and Expandable models. The smaller 20” size fits 5-7 outfits, while the 21” size fits 6-9 outfits. Both Hard Shell sizes fit most airline guidelines globally (22” x 14” x 9”), although these limitations are always subject to change.

    3. Are your carry-ons compatible with overhead storage bins?

Our Carry-On Hard Shell sizes (20” and 21”) fit most airline cabin guidelines globally (22” x 14” x 9”), although these limitations are always subject to change. You can find airline-specific details in our Airline Compatibility Chart on the All About Luggage page.

    4. How durable are your suitcases?

All of our suitcases are made of a lightweight, flexible, and durable polycarbonate hard shell designed to withstand impact from handling and exposure to the elements. As with all polycarbonate, however, our luggage will inevitably take on some wear and tear over time, particularly in transit and if you check your bags with an airline.

    5. Are your bags water resistant?

All of our suitcases are lined with water-resistant 75D polyester pongee to help protect your belongings from liquids.

    6. What’s your return policy on luggage?

Luggage may be returned for a full refund or exchange within 365 days of the purchase date, as long as items are new, unused, and in original packaging. Please note that this return policy will be voided if your suitcase has been used in transit. Feel free to pack it up and roll it around your home to get a feel for it, but unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on pre-used or damaged suitcases that are in unsaleable condition. We may request photo submission of the items requested for return to validate their condition prior to accepting the return.

    7. Does the luggage have a warranty?

We stand behind the quality of our luggage and certify it to be free from manufacturer’s defects in material and craftsmanship for the reasonable lifetime of the luggage under routine use by the original customer. This warranty does not cover cosmetic damage resulting from normal wear and tear; replacement of non-defective parts; damage caused by abuse, neglect, modification, tampering, or alteration, or force majeure; loss or theft; personal injuries; and products not sold as new or by authorized Quince retailers. In the unlikely event of a manufacturing defect, please contact care@onequince.com. For complete coverage details, please see our warranty policy.

    8. Do your suitcases nest inside each other?

All of our Hard Shell and Expandable Carry-On models (20” and 21”) nest perfectly inside of our Check-In models (24” and 27”) to maximize storage space.

    9. How do I care for my luggage?

To clean your hard shell suitcase, wipe with a soft, damp cloth, warm water, and mild soap. To help remove any scuff marks that don’t come off with water and soap, scrub gently with the provided anti-scuff sponge.

    10. How can I protect my luggage from damage?

As you travel, your luggage will inevitably take on some normal wear and tear. To help ensure the longevity of your suitcase, we also recommend regular care. When your luggage isn’t in use, we suggest storing it in its included dust bag to prevent it from accumulating dirt and dust.

    10. How do I set my TSA approved locks?

Our Travel Sentry® lock allows your luggage to be opened, inspected, and relocked by security authorities without any damage. For more information, visit www.travelsentry.org. All of our suitcases come with an instruction manual on how to set your TSA-approved Travel Sentry® combination lock. You can find details below: Step 1: Start from 0-0-0 and use a pointed object like a pen or a letter opener to hold down the reset button, which can be found below the scroll numbers. Step 2: While pressing the reset button, scroll the numbers to your ideal combination. Step 3: Slide the latch to the right and wait for the reset button to pop back into place, locking your combo. Step 4: Write down the combination, save it on your phone, or email it to yourself so that you can find it if you forget it. Please note that once you’ve set your lock combination on your luggage from its original 0-0-0 setting, there is no way for us to know what your personal combination is.

    12. Are your luggage products sustainable?

We partner with factories who have a commitment to responsible production and are BSCI and GRS certified. This means paying workers fairly and doing their best to produce in a way that reduces damage to the environment.

“The carry-on doesn’t skimp in terms of aesthetics. The suitcase reminded me of other premium bags I’ve handled, but at a fraction of the price.”

“We love Quince, the direct-to-consumer luxury brand, and the hard-shell carry-on is a fraction of the price of its competitors.”

“For $129, you get a polycarbonate suitcase with Japanese-crafted wheels and an internal compression system. A steal, if you ask me.”
