ALL YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
What is a garden rose, and how is it different from what I'd find at a grocery store?
What is a garden rose, and how is it different from what I'd find at a grocery store?
Garden roses are a completely different flower. Most roses sold at grocery stores are hybrid tea roses, bred for uniformity and shelf life, not beauty. Garden roses have 80-120+ petals per bloom (compared to 20-40 in a standard rose), a naturally fuller shape, richer color, and a fragrance that most hybrid teas simply don't have. These are the varieties florists specifically request and charge $8-12 per stem for.
How long do these last?
How long do these last?
With proper care, up to 10 days. Nearly double the lifespan of standard roses. Keep them trimmed, in fresh cool water, and away from heat and direct sunlight.
What does "farm-direct" actually mean?
What does "farm-direct" actually mean?
Your flowers go from the farm straight to you, with no importers, brokers, wholesalers, or florists in between. The typical flower passes through five hands before reaching a customer, spending days in storage at each step. Ours skip every one of those steps, which is why they arrive fresher and cost less.
What is your freshness guarantee?

If your flowers arrive damaged or don't open, contact us and we'll make it right. We stand behind the quality of every bunch.
Do they arrive fully open?
Do they arrive fully open?
No. Your flowers will arrive in bud and open gradually over the next 2-3 days. The gradual opening extends vase life - you get to watch them unfold rather than watching them fade.
Are they fragrant?
Are they fragrant?
It depends on the variety. Fragrance is most noticeable on days 3-4 when the blooms are fully open.
What occasions are these good for?
What occasions are these good for?
Any. They work as a gift (birthday, anniversary, thank you) or simply for your own home. At $34.90 a bunch, they're the kind of thing you send someone on a Tuesday because you were thinking of them, not just for a special occasion.
Can I send these as a gift?

Yes. They arrive in a carefully packed box designed to protect the blooms during shipping. Add a message card at checkout for a complete gift. Note that a vase is not included, so the recipient will need one to display them.

Some petals look bruised. Is something wrong?
Some petals look bruised. Is something wrong?
Minor bruising on outer petals is normal in transit. Gently remove those outer petals - garden roses have 80-120+ petals per bloom, so you'll still have a full, beautiful flower underneath. If damage is extensive, contact us.
