              Ponte pants

              I wasn’t sure what ponte fabric was when I ordered these, but I’ve been looking for straight leg pants that had a little heft to them so that they weren’t clingy and gave a nice straight silhouette. These exceeded my expectations. They are smooth against the skin and have a little stretch which gives the most comfortable fit without looking like knit or stretch pants. I love them! They can be dressed up or down and go with everything. They actually run slightly long which makes my legs look longer. Yay! Def getting more.

                So Close and Yet...

                Shopping with Quince was easy and intuitive. I received notices which let me know where my items were in the process. The items arrived in just a few days, packaged perfectly and well protected. Quince gets straight A's for all of the above. Regarding the Ultra-Stretch Ponte Straight Leg Pant in Charcoal Gray: Pros: The material and the color are awesome. The pants are cute. The price is right. Cons: The fit is extremely small. The sizing is a little funky. I am 5'5" and weigh 115-120 depending on the week, I have an athletic build and usually wear a small - I ordered a medium. I wanted to love these pants, the style and material are perfect for everyday workwear. I found the rise to be a tad short, to the point of discomfort. They are tighter than yoga pants, uncomfortable around the waist. I noticed that the Quince tag inside the pants said they were Medium, but when I looked at the tag sewn into the side of the pants by the manufacturer, it said XPetite. I ordered two pairs, gray and black, the second pair also said Medium, but the manufacture's tag said Petite. This may be the reason for the short rise. I'm sad it didn't work out and I'm not sure I'll reorder in a different size because the quality control seems to be lacking.

                Very comfy and stretchy

                I love these pants, it feels like I’m wearing leggings. I am 5’8 165lbs and got a medium which fits pretty slim on me. I was disappointed at first because a seam was coming apart on my first wear, but I reported it to customer service and they sent me a new pair! I got tall length which ended up being a little too long for me but I can roll them under and it looks no different, but for people around my height I’d recommend sticking with the regular length. There are no pockets, just faux ones.
