Ankle Socks

Quince's women's ankle socks come in cotton (the breathable everyday pick), merino wool (technical natural-fiber with temperature regulation), and 100% Grade-A Mongolian cashmere (the elevated soft option). All sit just above the ankle bone — visible above sneakers and loafers but hidden under longer pants.

Ankle socks — visible above the shoe, designed to add a hint of color or pattern at the ankle. Best with sneakers, loafers, and casual everyday wear where some sock visibility is intentional. No-show socks — completely hidden inside the shoe. Best with flats, ballet shoes, and warm-weather loafer wear where you want the look of bare ankles.

Cotton — most breathable, machine-washable, the everyday everyday pick. Merino wool — natural temperature regulation, odor-resistant (wear 3-5 times between washes), best for travel and active days. Cashmere — softest against skin, the elevated dressier option but more delicate care. Choose by use case: cotton for daily, merino for travel/active, cashmere for elevated wear.

Machine wash cool on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Cashmere and merino wool socks last longest with hand-wash and lay-flat-dry — high heat felts the fibers. Cotton and synthetic-blend socks handle regular machine wash. Wash dark colors with similar tones for the first few washes. Avoid bleach.
