Denim Jackets

Five denim jacket fits — all 100% OCS-certified organic cotton. The 100% Organic Cotton Denim Jacket is the classic standard fit (the textbook jean jacket). The 100% Organic Cotton Denim Chore Jacket is the workwear-inspired version with a boxier cut and patch pockets — a vintage take on the classic. The 100% Organic Cotton Oversized Denim Jacket is the slouchier layering-friendly cut. The 100% Organic Cotton Cropped Denim Jacket has a flattering cropped silhouette. The 100% Organic Cotton Denim Cargo Shirt Jacket adds functional patch pockets to a longer shirt-jacket length. All use the same OCS-certified organic cotton denim — thick and durable enough to last, but soft against the skin.

The classic Denim Jacket has the iconic boxy fit with chest pockets, button placket, and a defined waistband — the textbook silhouette you picture when you say "jean jacket." The Denim Chore Jacket draws from workwear — boxier through the body, longer at the hem, with larger patch pockets, designed for layering over a tee or sweater. More relaxed than the standard Denim Jacket. The Denim Cargo Shirt Jacket is closer to a long shirt-jacket (shacket) than a traditional jacket — looser body, no defined waistband, button-front closure like a shirt, with functional cargo-style patch pockets. The Oversized Denim Jacket is the standard Denim Jacket cut larger. The Cropped Denim Jacket is the standard cut shorter.

Most run true to size. The standard Denim Jacket has a classic fit — close through the shoulders and waist. The Chore Jacket runs slightly relaxed through the body. The Oversized Denim Jacket is intentionally roomy — stay with your standard size unless you want extra-slouchy (size down for a more controlled oversized look). The Cropped fit hits at or just above the natural waist. The Cargo Shirt Jacket is the longest — sits at upper hip. The organic cotton has light natural give but isn't a stretch denim — fit is consistent across wears and washes. 3D cutting helps preserve fit.

Machine wash cold inside-out on a gentle cycle to preserve color. Avoid bleach. Tumble dry low or hang dry — organic cotton denim softens with each wash and develops natural character (light fading at high-wear points, slight surface softening). The 100% OCS-certified organic cotton is sturdy by construction so it'll hold up to regular washing. The first wash slightly tightens the fabric; subsequent washes relax it back. No special care for the patch pockets or button placket; check button-fly closures occasionally for any loose threads.
