Plus jeans are graded with the waist, hip, thigh, and rise each adjusting independently of one another. The result is denim that sits flat at the back of the waist without gapping, drapes through the hip without pulling at the side seam, and ends at the correct inseam without rolling. The curvy-fit silhouette specifically grades for a more pronounced waist-to-hip ratio — extra ease through the hip and thigh without compromising the waistband fit.

Inseam length varies by style and rise — straight and skinny plus jeans typically run 30"-31" inseam in regular plus length, with cropped and ankle versions at 26"-28".
