ALL YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
What makes your cookware non-toxic?
What makes your cookware non-toxic?
Our ceramic nonstick cookware is lead- and cadmium-free, and made without potentially toxic materials including PTFE, PFOA, and other PFAS, which are used in traditional nonstick coatings. PFAS are nicknamed "Forever Chemicals," because they do not break down easily in the environment or in the human body. PFAS-based coatings can also release toxic fumes when overheated. The absence of forever chemicals in our nonstick means they won’t release toxic fumes, even if you accidentally overheat your pan.

How do I (properly!) cook with Nonstick Ceramic?
Always cook on low to medium heat. We recommend preheating your pan over low heat for 90 seconds before adding oil or butter. Avoid high heat cooking, which can damage the non-stick coating over time. Use with silicone, nylon, or wood utensils. Do not use metal utensils with nonstick ceramic cookware, as their sharp edges can scratch and damage the coating.
Should I use butter, oil, or cooking sprays with Nonstick Ceramic?
Should I use butter, oil, or cooking sprays with Nonstick Ceramic?
Yes. While the ceramic coating lets you cook with less oil than traditional pans, using a small amount of oil or butter helps distribute heat and will extend the lifespan of your cookware. We recommend using a high smoke point oil like avocado or grapeseed. Do not use cooking sprays or spray oils as these can lead to a sticky buildup on the cooking surface.
