Bookshelves are taller (60-84 inches), with multiple shelves for books and decor — best against a wall as a focal point or in a reading nook. Sideboards are wider and shorter than bookshelves with closed storage — best for dining rooms or as media units.

Solid oak (reclaimed and new), handwoven natural rattan, fluted wood, and genuine marble tops. No MDF or veneer construction in this line. Behind a sofa: keep the table the same height as the sofa back (or slightly lower) and style with a lamp, tray, and a few books or a small plant. In an entryway: use the surface for mail, keys, and a lamp; hang a mirror or artwork above; tuck baskets underneath for shoe or bag storage. The table should be at least 4-6 inches shorter than the wall space to leave visual breathing room.

Vacuum rattan with a soft brush attachment to lift dust from the weave. Wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately — rattan absorbs water and can swell or warp if left wet. Avoid placing rattan in direct sunlight for long periods (it bleaches) or in damp basements (it molds). For minor surface scuffs, a light coat of furniture wax restores the finish.
