Organic Cotton Tees

GOTS — Global Organic Textile Standard — is a certification that governs organic cotton from field to finished textile. To be GOTS-certified, cotton must be grown without synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, or genetically modified seeds, and the entire processing supply chain (spinning, weaving, dyeing, finishing) must meet strict environmental and social criteria. Quince's organic cotton tees use GOTS-certified cotton — the most rigorous standard in the organic cotton category.

Organic cotton — grown without synthetic chemicals, certified to GOTS standards. Breathable matte finish, soft against skin. Best for shoppers prioritizing natural-fiber sourcing and breathability. Regular cotton — conventionally grown cotton, may use synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. Wider range of finishes (Pima for silky, brushed for soft-touch, modal blends for stretch). The differences are about sourcing standards and finish style rather than fundamental fabric structure.

Organic cotton tees fit slightly more relaxed through the body than Pima or modal blend tees. True to size for most shoppers. The breathable natural-fiber hand has slight ease compared to the closer-fitting modal styles. Sleeves end at mid-upper-arm for short-sleeve silhouettes. Size up for an oversized look.

Machine wash cool on a gentle cycle, tumble dry low or hang dry. Wash dark colors with similar tones for the first few washes to set the dye. Avoid bleach.
