The Maxi-Cosi Swift Play Yard features 3 modes of use - Newborn bassinet, toddler sleep space (in the play yard w/o bassinet) and play yard. The Swift can be used as an overnight sleep space as long as proper supervision is in place to ensure the safety of the child. No loose blankets or pillows, placing the child on their back to sleep etc.
