Tailored Shorts lean polished. The organic stretch cotton chino family includes standard Chino Shorts, Chino Bermuda Shorts (longer length), Chino Patch Pocket Shorts (front utility pockets), and the Organic Stretch Cotton Twill Utility Shorts (4" inseam, utility pocket details). Stretch Crepe Pleated Shorts in recycled stretch crepe add a more elegant, pleated option. 100% European Linen Trouser Shorts are lined and structured for warm-weather polish. Several denim styles also live in this category — Bella Stretch Vintage Shorts, Stretch Patch Pocket Shorts, Bella Rigid Cut Off Shorts, Maya Rigid Bermuda Shorts, and the 100% Organic Denim Shortalls — these are also available in the Women's Jeans denim shorts assortment.

Chino refers to fabric — lightweight cotton twill, the same fabric as classic chino pants. Quince's chinos use organic stretch cotton with a touch of stretch for comfort. Bermuda refers to length — at or just above the knee, longer than a standard short. The two aren't either-or: Quince has both Chino Shorts (standard length, mid-thigh) and Chino Bermuda Shorts (longer Bermuda length). The Maya Rigid Bermuda Shorts use non-stretch denim instead of chino fabric. Pick chino for the fabric (lightweight, breathable, slightly polished); pick Bermuda for the longer, more polished length.

Four chino options. The Organic Stretch Cotton Chino Shorts are the classic mid-thigh length with back pockets and a button-hook closure. The Organic Stretch Cotton Chino Bermuda Shorts have the same fabric in a longer Bermuda length. The Stretch Cotton Chino Patch Pocket Shorts add prominent patch pockets on the front for a more utility-leaning look. The Organic Stretch Cotton Twill Utility Shorts use slightly heavier cotton twill with multiple utility pockets and a 4" inseam — closer to a workwear-inspired short than a classic chino.

Most run true to size. The organic stretch cotton chinos have a touch of stretch built into the fabric for everyday comfort — fit slightly closer to the body. Bermuda lengths run at or just above the knee. The Stretch Crepe Pleated Shorts are wrinkle-resistant and have an elegant drape; size up if you want a more relaxed silhouette. The Linen Trouser Shorts are lined with an elastic back waistband for ease through the day. The denim styles fit per their parent line — Bella Stretch (comfort stretch) runs true to size; Bella Rigid and Maya Rigid (non-stretch) fit firmer through the waist.

For organic stretch cotton chinos and twills: machine wash cool gentle, tumble dry low. The stretch holds shape between washes. For Stretch Crepe Pleated Shorts (recycled stretch crepe): machine wash cool gentle, hang dry to preserve the pleated structure and avoid heat damage. For Linen Trouser Shorts: machine wash cold gentle, hang dry — linen wrinkles are characteristic. For stretch denim styles: machine wash cold inside-out gentle, tumble dry low. For non-stretch denim (Bella Rigid Cut Off, Maya Rigid Bermuda, Organic Shortalls): machine wash cold, hang dry. Avoid bleach across all materials.
