Four core fabric families — 100% European linen, 100% organic cotton oxford, organic cotton stretch poplin, and 100% silk twill — each offered in multiple silhouettes (long sleeve, short sleeve, camp collar, utility, band collar). The line also includes vintage-wash tencel camp shirts and a double-brushed stretch overshirt for layering. Pick the fabric first, then the cut.

Oxford is a heavier basket-weave cotton with a visible texture — structured, slightly more formal in feel, breaks in over time. Stretch poplin is a smoother, lighter cotton with a touch of elastane for movement and a non-iron finish — the most polished-looking of the three, the easiest to throw on after laundry. Linen is a natural woven fabric — breathable, with the subtle slub and slight rumple linen is known for. Pick oxford for the everyday button-down, stretch poplin for the cleanest look, linen for warm weather.

Long sleeve is the most versatile — wear it rolled up or buttoned, untucked or tucked. Short sleeve sits at the bicep and works for warm-weather casual. A camp shirt has a one-piece notch collar that lays flat against the body without a button at the throat — designed to be worn open and untucked, more relaxed than a standard short sleeve. Many shoppers buy one of each fabric in two silhouettes.

Linen creases — it's part of the fabric's character — but our linen is garment-washed and pre-softened so the wrinkles look intentional rather than messy. If you want a crisper look, press while slightly damp. If you want a soft, lived-in look, hang it after washing and skip the press. For travel, the wrinkle-free linen styles (available in the Linen Shirts collection) use a finish that holds shape without compromising the linen feel.

Most casual shirts are cut to a relaxed straight body — true to size through the chest and shoulders without being baggy. The linen utility shirt and overshirt run slightly looser by design; the stretch poplin runs slightly closer because of the elastane. If you're between sizes, the oxford and linen size up cleanly; the stretch poplin sizes down. Each product page lists model height and the size shown.
