Seat height of 17-19 inches matches standard table heights (28-30"). For upholstered chairs, check the fabric rating — performance fabrics handle daily life; delicate weaves don't. Solid hardwood legs last decades; particleboard frames don't. Most Quince dining chairs ship fully assembled or with leg attachment only.

If you regularly host more guests than your daily setup seats, yes. Standard Quince extendable tables add 18-24 inches via a center leaf, taking a 72" table to 90-96" — enough for 2-3 additional chairs. The mechanism adds a small price premium but takes seconds to operate.
