What's the difference between stoneware and porcelain?
What's the difference between stoneware and porcelain?
Stoneware is heavier, more rustic in finish, and slightly more porous; porcelain is lighter, denser, and has a finer, glassier surface. Stoneware feels more casual, porcelain more formal — both are durable, dishwasher-safe, and microwave-safe.

Are these sets dishwasher-safe?
Yes. Our stoneware and porcelain dinnerware is dishwasher-safe. Hand-washing is gentler over time, but daily dishwasher use won't damage the glaze.
How many pieces come in a set?
How many pieces come in a set?
Service for 4 (16 pieces: dinner plate, salad plate, bowl, mug × 4). Some sets include just plates and bowls (12 pieces). Check listings for exact contents.
Can I add to a set later?
Can I add to a set later?
Yes — most of our dinnerware lines are kept in stock as ongoing collections, so you can buy single pieces or extra sets later. Color stability is consistent batch-to-batch.
Will the colors fade in the dishwasher?
Will the colors fade in the dishwasher?
No. The glaze sits on top of the clay body and is fired at high temperatures, locking in color permanently. Decades of dishwasher cycles will not lift the color.
Are the sets microwave-safe?
Are the sets microwave-safe?
Yes — both stoneware and porcelain are microwave-safe. Avoid sudden temperature changes (don't move a plate from freezer to microwave) to protect the glaze long-term.
