I loved this Merino Wool 1/4 zip base layer so much I purchased it in grey and black. It saved me from the cold weather during my recent trip to Ireland. I especially loved that I can still wear it in Florida. Buy it today!!

My Second One!!

This beautiful constructed Merino Wool 1/4 zip kept me warm on my 2 week trip to Ireland ☘️. I especially loved that I can lower the zipper and wear more layers. The piece also kept my hands warm due to the thumb slip. I loved it so much I bought two. 

A fabulous Cold Weather 1/4 Zip

Really like this base layer for cold weather season and great for snowboarding too. Keeps me warm and fits true to size. 

Nice base

Everything fits really well and looks just like the photos. As someone who is 5'11" and 175 pounds, the fit is great. The sleeves are long enough, and the cropped items or vests fit well without showing my midriff. The material is lovely, and I find myself reaching for these items more often than not.

I found the perfect wool base layer for skiing. The purple color is so rich and the fit is great. I chose a S so it wouldn’t be so tight and I could even wear more layers under. Excited to hit the slopes in this!

Gorgeous Purple!

Very nice quality, washes well, very warm, I've been wearing all winter so can keep the heat down in the house.  I like a looser fit so got a comfortable XL.  Bought one for my friend as a gift who likes a tighter fit for under clothes. Got her a L where normally shes XL

Great quality, should have bought more than one

This is a great base layer.  The mock neck is a nice touch for extra warmth when needed.  I would definitely recommend as a reasonably priced wool piece.  

Great top

I have both the cold weather and regular base layer shirts and use them every day in the cold months. The cold weather variety is significantly warmer and excellent for sub-zero days. Launders beautifully. I sized up because  was concerned about shrinkage. There was some limited shrinkage with the first wash, but none since. If you're between sizes, I'd size up.

Exceptional product

Great layering piece under sweater or vest. So soft and perfect fit. 

Great for layering 

This is so comfortable and keeping me so warm. I do live in Florida, but we have had 20s and 30s so it was a good time to break it out and use it as I will be taking it to Norway on a cruise of the northern lights. I feel is that I am more than prepared now. The quality of quences close is always excellent.

Merino wool 

I have (and LOVE) the all weather merino wool shirts and was excited to try the warmer version for cold weather. I normally don't like anything on my neck and was especially concerned about the wool but this top is soft and isn't itchy at all. I've had no reaction on my neck. I'm a 38B and about 42" and sized up to an XL to accommodate for shrinkage in washing and so that it wasn't snug and I could add a thin top underneath if I found it itchy (I haven't).  It's not quite as warm as I expected, though that could be from my looser fit, and I actually think it's a good thing because I want to be able to layer in various ways without overheating. My only disappointment is that I missed out on the crewneck option and hope they bring it back next winter (please!).

I love this base layer! It is so soft. The thumb holes are a bonus! I would buy this in several colors it they were available!! Definitely recommend

I have looked on other brands for merino wool base layers.
Quince’s item is so much better quality and better price. 
Looking forward to wear them in freezing days. 

Quality on affordable price 

I love this base layer.  I live in Colorado, and use merino wool base layers year round.  It is soft, is a great color, and fits great. Quince make more colors.  I’m usually a M and it fits a bit loosely.  Great that it is washable.

Great Marino Base Layer

I have bought these from EMS, Outdoor Research & Smart wool. This is as good or better than any of the others and 1/3 or the price. Soft & warm & great for hiking & skiing. Fit me like an underlayer should.

Love this base layer. I bought this top with the matching leggings and they are a fantastic layer to add on super cold days. It’s thin enough material to fit under almost everything too which is great.

I love this top! It’s not itchy and I can wear it all day hiking and getting sweaty and I don’t smell bad at the end of the day! I discovered it too late to get more than one color, so please Quince, bring it back and I will buy every color! Leggings too please!

Under ski attire

Slim fit, so I bought 1 size bigger than I usually order. I don’t like a layer like this to be slim fit because I wear a tee underneath. I wear it under my scrubs for warmth. I’m wearing it with a merino shaker in the picture. I like the thumb cut outs too. 

Work and casual wear

I am in love with this!  It is my new soft and cozy go-to for cold, Northern Michigan winters.  A turtleneck goes wonderfully under it, or it layers well under a flannel or sweatshirt.  The fit is very flattering.  Quince, please make this in more colors, like the light green merino T-Shirt!  It’s not fair that the Men’s merino section has more colors than the Ladies :-)
