Yes—we use 100% Grade-A Mongolian cashmere, sourced from goats in Inner Mongolia. Fibers measure 15.8-16.2 microns, which is finer than typical mainstream cashmere, resists pilling, and feels softer next to skin.

Quince sources Grade-A Mongolian cashmere directly from the mills that supply the specialty cashmere market—same fiber quality, same construction standards. The price difference comes from cutting wholesale and retail markup out of the supply chain, not from using a lower-grade material. The crewneck that retails elsewhere for $200+ starts at $50 here because the pricing reflects factory-direct sourcing.

Most styles are designed with a relaxed-but-not-oversized fit, intended for layering and everyday wear. Crew and V-neck silhouettes sit just below the hip; turtleneck and oversized styles run slightly longer. Size down for a slimmer modern fit and size up for a more relaxed look or if you're between sizes—cashmere has minimal stretch, so sizing up is the safer call.

Hand wash cold and lay flat to dry on a clean towel—never hang wet cashmere (it stretches) and never put it in the dryer (heat felts the fibers). A cashmere comb used lightly every few wears keeps any surface pilling controlled.

Returns can be made within 365 days of the order date. Cashmere doesn't carry a formal warranty against pilling — that's a natural property of natural fiber, managed with a cashmere comb — but excessive pilling or a hole within the first months of normal wear can be returned within the 365-day window.
