Quince's women's flats split into three main groups: ballet flats, Mary-Janes, and slip-ons. The ballet flat lineup is the largest — bow, glove, square-toe, cap-toe, keyhole, and handwoven variants. Mary-Jane flats add a single-strap closure for a more secure fit. Slingback flats sit between the two with an open back. Pointed-toe flats lean dressier, while espadrilles, huaraches, and clog mules cover warm-weather and casual silhouettes. Most styles are crafted in Italian leather; washable knit, mesh, and cotton canvas also appear in select pieces.

The Washable Knit Pointed-Toe Flat is designed to be cleaned in the wash. The Water Repellent Suede Clog Mule is treated to repel light moisture. Most other ballet flats are unlined Italian leather and are not suitable for rain — wipe with a damp cloth to clean.

Italian leather ballet flats run true to size and ease with wear as the leather softens around the foot. Knit and mesh styles have more give and tend to feel snug at first. Mary-Jane and slingback flats can fit a half-size more flexibly due to the open or adjustable closure. Each product page lists size-specific guidance.

Pointed-toe flats, Mary-Janes, and cap-toe ballet flats lean dressier and suit office, work-from-anywhere, and dinner outfits. Wipe with a damp cloth after each wear to remove dirt and skin oils. Condition Italian leather every few months with a leather balm to keep it supple. For suede styles, brush with a suede brush after each wear and apply a suede protector spray seasonally. Air-dry away from direct sun if they get damp.

A ballet flat is a slip-on shoe with a low rounded or square toe and no strap. A Mary-Jane has the same low silhouette but adds a single ankle or instep strap (sometimes a buckle), which gives a more polished look and keeps the shoe more secure on the foot.
