Crew Socks

Quince's women's crew socks come in cotton (the breathable everyday pick), merino wool (technical natural-fiber with temperature regulation), and 100% Grade-A Mongolian cashmere (the elevated soft option). The collection covers solid-color crew socks, patterned and striped crew socks (for visual interest), and athletic crew socks (with cushioning at the heel and ball of foot for high-impact wear).

Crew socks sit at mid-shin (typically 6-8 inches above the ankle). Quarter socks sit at mid-calf (typically 4-5 inches above the ankle) — between ankle socks and crew socks in height. Crew socks show above ankle boots and pair with most shoe styles; quarter socks are more athletic-oriented and pair primarily with sneakers.

For everyday daily wear: cotton — most breathable, machine-washable, comfortable across most temperature ranges. For travel and active days: merino wool — natural temperature regulation, odor-resistance, multiple wears between washes. For elevated everyday and office wear: cashmere — softest against skin, refined enough for dressier shoe pairings.

Machine wash cool on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Cashmere and merino wool socks last longest with hand-wash and lay-flat-dry — high heat felts the fibers. Cotton and synthetic-blend socks handle regular machine wash. Wash dark colors with similar tones for the first few washes. Avoid bleach.
