Condition 1–2 times per year with a dedicated leather conditioner (avoid petroleum-based products). Store on a wide-shouldered hanger away from direct sunlight and heat, which dry leather out. If the jacket gets wet, let it dry naturally at room temperature — never use heat. With this care, a quality leather jacket lasts decades.

Brown leather ranges from a warm cognac (amber-orange undertone), to a chestnut (red-brown), to a deep chocolate (near-black brown). Cognac is the most versatile with a warm-weather wardrobe — it pairs naturally with camel, cream, olive, and navy. Chocolate brown is more year-round and works as cleanly with dark colors as with earth tones. Chestnut sits between the two in versatility. All develop patina differently over time — lighter browns show character more visibly.
